They listened with interest to what was discussed and offered useful ideas and suggestions.<br />When it was time to wind up, they didn&#8217;t want to go! At the conclusion one of the ladies, on behalf of their group, thanked the men of MURAL, saying <i>that their lives and those of their families had definitely improved since their men had joined and that their relationships were better as a result.</i><br />This was an important milestone in Mural&#8217;s history. It appears that we are on the right track. So far, five have confirmed. My wife Verne will be there.<br />In the past we have been invited to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, learned about their successes and respected their anonymity. <br />This is in response to several of the ladies expressing interest in knowing how we go about our business. It is an evolutionary step for us. <br />So, our objectives for the evening are:</p> <ol class="style5"> <li> <p align="justify" class="style5"> To thank our partners for their support and enable you know more about us.</p> </li> <li> <p align="justify" class="style5"> To show three examples of what we discuss, e.g. an anger management<br /> &nbsp;tool called  Time Out ;</p> </li> <li> <p align="justify" class="style5"> To hear suggestions on how we can improve our meetings;</p> </li> <li> <p align="justify" class="style5"> To get your ideas on how we can help men to join us.</p> </li> </ol> <p align="justify" class="style5"> Dr. Nick Christodoulou, a South African Clinical Psychologist says:  Abuse is not a one-time fix with therapy. The way out of abuse is a constant process, with attention being paid to the change which takes place in the progress of time.
